This stuff is absolutely dreamy. Calendula blended with tallow is a match made in heaven! 100% non toxic (you could actually eat it!). It is rich in vitamins and minerals and because it has similar chemistry to our own skin it will not irritate. Instead it is so soothing and healing! Use this as daily moisturizer on the whole family, night facial cream, bug bites, eczema, burns, cuts, sunscreen, sunburns, diaper cream, nipple cream and dry skin and so much more. Although the tallow has been rendered multiple times it is still beef fat and will always have a slight earthy smell. We have intentionally created our tallow without essential oils (compared to other brands that use EO’s to mask this scent) so this earthy smell may be more prevalent depending on the batch.
